I am James

...a musician and photographer with a passion for creating & capturing life’s most meaningful moments. By day, I’m a music teacher, sharing the joy and inspiration that music has brought into my life with my students.. In my free time, I’m either performing or behind the camera, turning moments into timeless stories.

Photography, like music, is a way to capture life’s rhythm & harmony—its quiet moments, loud celebrations, and everything in between. Whether I’m capturing the laughter of a family gathering, or freezing the beauty of a fleeting sunset, my goal is always the same: to create images that resonate like a favorite song, evoking emotion and preserving memories.

Freelance photography gives me the freedom to explore everything that inspires me—from intimate family events to breathtaking scenery—and transform it into art that tells a story and writes a song.

Family Photoshoot

James is a phenomenal artist. First, I needed headshots done ASAP and he jumped in within a day, had a plan, and was ready to make it happen. I was beyond nervous having pictures taken and was super uncomfortable about it. I didn’t have a clue what to do but he guided me through the whole process, made me feel comfortable, and had me laughing majority of the time which made for some of the best shots he took. Highly recommend!
